1.  When did you first start playing Wizard101?  Pirate101?  How did you find out about the games?

Started Wizard101 back in February of 2010, and Pirate101 when it went live! I found Wizard101 through an ad. I looked at it and thought "this can either be a virus, or the beginning of an awesome adventure of a game". Luckily, it was the later!

2.  Is there something you would like to change or add in Wizard101?  Pirate101?

With Wizard101 I'd probably go with the pets. I've had several pets fail on me, and I'm not the only one! I wish you would just give your pet a hug and it gives you all the amazing talents you want. With Pirate I'd probably say the sailing time, it can take soooo long to get from one area to the next! I usually doodle during this down time though, so it's not that bad for me!

3.  When did you get inspired to begin graphics for the KI games? What got you inspired?

It's tough to say when, probably around 2011. I remember seeing some of the awesome fan art for Wizard101 and I just knew I had to be a part of it! And I just get my inspiration from playing the games!

4.  What made you create a YouTube channel showing how you make your doodles?

I've always (and still am) a huge fan of drawing videos! I love watching artists, that I admire, draw stuff! I found it super helpful, and I figured it would be only fair to contribute with my stuff to help those who like my art!

5.  Why did you make your blog site, Art in the Spiral?  Did something or someone inspire you?  If so, what or who?

With my site, I wanted a place for people to go to get help with drawing! I also wanted one place to post all my shenanigans.

6.  Your blog site, Art in the Spiral recently became official for Pirate101.  How did you feel?

It was awesome!! It was a huge step for me and my art in the fact that more people will find my art and tutorials, and I would be able to help more people than before! And it also means that Pirate101 approves of my doodles! Hah!

7.  As a dedicated doodle artist, do you have any tips or information for other artists in the community?

Well with doodles, as with any art, it's important to keep practicing and trying new things! Play around with different styles, colors, shapes, and sizes!

8.  To conclude the interview, what would you like to say to the Wizard101 and Pirate101 community?

I just want to say thank you, and that I am so very happy that I found this awesome community!! We may be small compared to other communities, but we are significantly more awesome! I love how positive and nice we are. I rarely ever seen foul and rude comments, which is often seen quite often  in other communities! I love you guys <3

It’s Pirate101’s Birthday, AND Halloween – aka, Birth-o-ween!

Start by redeeming your free Pirate101 birthday hat, and check out the Crown Shop for some new, exclusive items! There’s a new Halloween Galleon that seems awfully spooky, and there’s an eyepatch for you, whether you’re more into the birthday theme or the Halloween one. Grab them while you can, because they’ll be making a departure at the end of the month.

Also, Skull Island is completely decorated to celebrate the festive month. There’s a new NPC between the Buccaneer and Privateer classrooms that has a new quest… something about a new statue Captain Avery found, it seems. But, be careful… this statue has a strange curse upon it, and it’s up to you to break it!

On top of that, KingsIsle announced that there will be a new introduction to the battle system coming soon, known as Battle Standards! They’ll give you an edge in battle when they’re placed, boosting a certain type of companion. You can even use them in PvP, too! Keep an eye out for gift cards that will be released soon, and you may just be able to snag one of your own…

Don’t miss out on celebrating Pirate101’s first birthday! It’s been a remarkable year since the launch of the game, and we’re sure that we’ll be in for quite a few more surprises in the future! Speaking of surprises… did you hear that Captain Blood is making a special visit to some Pirate101 fansites? Check them out here, and click the link below to view the complete Update Notes for this month!

Hello Everybody, this is our first post of  "Community Spotlight" since its announcement, hopefully you all enjoy it!

This Month on Community Spotlight
:

That's right, this month's Community Spotlight post is about AluraRB or "The Doodle Lady".

AluraRB first started out "doodling" on Wizard101 Central with her shop; "Art in the Spiral" back in July 2012, her doodles quickly became massively popular on Central and everyone wanted one (even me!) and it wasn't too long till everyone knew what her doodle styles were like.

Her art didn't stop there; She's been featured on the Pirate101 Fan Art Page and the Kingsisle Official Blog!

After a little over a year creating doodles for Central Members, she moved onto her blog; Art in the Spiral (http://www.alurarb.com/). Her blog quickly became popular and the "#Twizards and #Twirates" community on twitter were taken over by doodles!

This month (October), AluraRB was accepted as an Official Fansite for Pirate101, this a huge honour for any fansite and the community are all very proud of her!

Here is an example of her work:

(It's Me!!! She made it for me :D)

Take a look at the Drawing Process Alura goes through when she does a doodle, on her YouTube Page!

It's that time of year again, after a few mishaps yesterday, Halloween has finally arrived!

This year is bigger than ever, it brings a new Quest and a new Pet. Along with all the other usual happenings; Jack Hallow Quests, Halloween Towers, and Spooky Bob.

Without further ado, let's get starting on that Quest.

Remember when Dworgyn leaked that quest? Well, it's been officially released:

Once visiting Dworgyn and Venturing all the way to the other end of the Haunted Cave, you find a trail of vegetables all sucked of their juices, with only one place to go, it's onward through the fog!

Oh, does it look familiar? Oh that's right, this Producer's Letter gave us a sneak peek at it back in August.

I won't spoil too much for you, so I'll leave you there, if you wish to see what is behind the gates, speak to Dworgyn, hurry though, this quest is only around for halloween!

The Quest Reward for this Quest is the... *Cue Drum Roll*

FRANKENBUNNY

This Wonderful little Creature is available to anyone who completes the quest!

Click Here to view the FULL Talents list for this Pet on the Petnome Project.

And last but not least, Wizard101 gave us a Teaser Image to a new world (supposedly).

It appears someone doesn't want us entering this world, I wonder who this could be? *Whips Head to the Right Dramatically to look at Morganthe*
